2. The Punchbar app
We do not collect any personal data through the app. All data stays on your Mac: API tokens in the macOS Keychain, settings and pending worklogs in the app’s container. If you allow calendar access, today’s events are read locally and never leave your device.
To show and create your worklogs, the app connects directly from your Mac to Tempo and to your Jira Cloud site, using the credentials you enter. This data does not pass through us; the privacy policies of these providers apply.
3. This website
When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, date and time, and browser information to deliver the pages and protect them against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for these purposes.
The hosting provider may process data in the USA. This transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
4. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your email address and message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Providing this data is voluntary, but we cannot reply without it. We delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15–20 GDPR). Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, write to support@punchbar.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
